Shaft and his sister Candy are from our Caz X Dovie litter. This litter has one of the highest concentrations of Pine Paddocks bloodlines left in the world. Shaft was named after the movie character, since from a young age he always thought he was "the man". He is the only puppy we've had recently who was brave enough to walk right up our old red dog Sox.

Shaft made his show ring debut at 6 months and had fun playing in the ring. But a few weekends later, and shown in the classes by his co-breeder Ingrid, he was able to garner a puppy Group 3. Shaft fnished his championship in October 2005 with 3 majors, including at an SCOA supported entry.
