From the moment Rocky was born, he was destined to stay at Odi et Amo-Elessar. Even as a very tiny puppy he reminded Sue a great deal of his double grandfather and great-grandfather Atlas.

He turned heads at the 2001 National Specialty at six months due to being a VERY fuzzy puppy. By the fall Eastern Regional, Rocky had lost the fuzz, grown leg and was turning heads for a different reason. He got his first points his second time out in the ring, was WD and BOW at the 2002 Empire Saluki Club show and finished his championship in August 2002.

Rocky took up lure coursing, making his debut at the GANG Big Bang in July 2003. Running for his pre-cert he first tried to kill the pulley, but then got the idea. He's about a fourth of the way to his ASFA FCh in 2 weekends of running and quickly learned how to cheat! Life intervened and Rocky's coursing career was put on hold, but we keep saying we'll bring him back out...

Rocky sired his first litter to our Ch Odi et Amo Holly Elessar. The puppies were born on September 2, 2005. Grace was Reserve in Futurity at the 2006 SCOA Nationals and has both majors, Woody is major pointed and Flo is pointed with a Breed from the 6-9 class.

No longer the fuzzy puppy, Rocky grew up nicely. And, he doesn't show any family resemblence, does he?
