Elessar's Janus Al Elessar 5 point major- April 2003

Murphy is from the litter Sue co-bred with Sue Ann Pietros (Monab) and Marilyn LaBrache Brown (Dadaelis) when they leased Ch Odi et Amo Marigold Elessar. Sue has never had a particolor before and when Murphy popped out... Then raising the litter, Sue grew more and more attached until even Bill had to agree, Murphy was staying.

Murphy finished his championship by going WD and BOS at the Langley Kennel Club show Sunday May 25, 2003 under judge Larry Terricone.

Murphy won the 18-24 month class and was Best of Opposite Sex at the SCOA Saluki National Specialty Futurity June 3, 2003 under judge Beverly Griffith (Sarea).

Murphy began lure coursing in 2003 with a bang. He got his JC title at Nationals and the following weekend went the the Carolina Lure Coursing Society trial. June 14, 2003, running in Open for the first time, Murphy took Best in Field for a 5 point major. The next day he was Best of Breed and now has 2 legs toward his SC title. Unfortunately, life intervened and Murphy's coursing career was put on hold.
