Mouse was one of two black fringed reds in her litter. As a young pup, she broke her hock and there were concerns about whether or not she would ever be sound. She appears to have recovered quite well and appears sound and certainly loves to run and play.

Mouse lives with Francis in Ohio, where she loves to fence fight. Mouse has quite a different look from her littermates, resembling more perhaps her old English ancestors. Mouse may shown if Francis ever gets her leash broken. She is a subborn and wants to do her own thing!
