This litter was an out-cross for our breeding program, going out to the Bahja line, which is one of the most highly preserved Pine Paddocks breeding to be found today.

We have been quite pleased with the puppies produced by this breeding. Amber whelped a litter of six, three males and three females. Four of the five surviving puppies finished their championships.

This litter was Terra Ombre's second litter for and produced seven puppies, six females and a male. Four of the litter are finished. Ares finished first at 10 months with a best of breed over specials, Eris finished spectacularly by going Group 1, Ate finished after becoming a sweepstakes winner and Eriel finished at 7 after having not been shown for several years as a younger dog.

Both Ares and Ate have produced offspring. Ate is the dam of a champion litter of one for Silvershadow. The puppies from Ares' first litter for Medira are being shown sporadically and Ares' has two champions out of his litter from our Ch Odi et Amo Amber Elessar. Enyo and Leah were placed in pet homes as puppies.

This was Terra Ombre's first litter. Although it was a litter of one, Amber is definitely a special dog. She is a small, typy bitch reminiscent of the classic old-American style salukis. Amber has been a treasured addition to our kennel and a fablous producer.

This was Atlas's first litter and Rhea's only litter. Thus far, this is the only litter of salukis to carry the Elessar kennel name at the beginning of the name. Originally, the Elessar kennel name was going to be listed first on our whippet and afghan breedings. One of the puppies from this litter, Zeus, has proven to be a top producer for us. Zeus has sired three champions and one group winner for us and four champions and three group winners for Silvershadow.

Terra was bred by Jean Hoefer and was the second of Odi et Amo's foundation bitches. Like Gaea, she produced two litters for us and traces in all of our current pedigrees.

Nemi was leased to Carlene for this litter, which doubled up on Nemi's grandfather, Ch Az Bahja Jedda on the Red Sea. Nemi enjoyed her time in New Jersey. This litter produced 7 black tris, 5 bitches and two dogs.
