Ch Az Bahja Jedda on the Red Sea - Ch Odi et Amo Amber Elessar

Bally was the only black male in the Jedda X Amber litter. He was originally owned by Bill Mitchell, but returned to Odi et Amo-Elessar after Bill's tragic death. Bill and Sue Flynn finished Bally's championship easily and in 1999, Bally came to live at Senta. Bally was co-owned by Ingrid Christensen and Francis Broadway.

Bally had the run of an apartment he shared with his aunt Eris, sister Mari and three doting humans. He was briefly specialed with Don Powell handling and was a multiple Best of Breed winner, but was retired due to his lack of interest in the show ring.

Bally was a loving dog who could take a while to warm up to people. Even then, Bally was very much an aloof dog, sometimes just really wanting to be left alone, even by his beloved "mom" and "grandma". Bally typically got along well with other salukis, but tended to dislike other breeds of dogs. He also had a particular dislike of cats.

Bally sired two litters for Gail Goodman (Midbar), both born in January 2003.

Bally passed away on May 30, 2006.
