Atlas was one of Sue's all-time favorite salukis. He was a loving companion and according to Sue, one of the best male salukis she had ever seen. Atlas's excellent front was featured in the original AKC video slide show for the saluki.

Atlas sired only two litters consisting of a mere 4 puppies. Of those four, three finished their championships and two have been bred. Atlas passed his excellent front and wonderful temperament on to his children. In turn, they have passed these traits on to their children. The Zeus X Ombre litter contains several black dogs, Ch Ares, Ch Ate and Ch Eris, who are the spitting image of their grandsire.
